Stone's Ginger wine is a famous drink as it has a history that dates back to the 1740s.
The Finsbury Distilling company found this drink in London. In 1751 there was a Gin Act where it had prevented the drink from being sold to the public in direct, however Joseph Stone a grocer was seen as a partner where he had started distributing the beverage.
Joseph's son joined the company as a salesmen and began spreading the word of the Stones Ginger Wine and from here on it was after there name the drink stayed.
