Marius

Carrying the name and convivial spirit of Marius, Michel Chapoutier’s great grandfather, these wines convey the warmth of the soil in the Languedoc region of the South of France, where some of the country’s oldest vineyards can be found.

There are many climatic and geological similarities between the Languedoc and the Southern Rhône, and Michel feels the level of sunshine that the vines are exposed to creates expressive, approachable and elegantly casual wines that are designed to be shared.
