Coming from a German word 'gold beater' this magnificent liqueur Goldschlager is a very eye catchy golden bottle!

The bottle does have genuine 24 carat gold leaf flakes inside the bottle.

An urban myth says that the golden flakes inside the bottle, scratch the consumers throat so that it absorbs faster.

However there is no such danger as it is soft and harmless. It is simply there to add character and a hint of sparkle to make the drink and bottle unique as possible.
