Charles Tanqueray first distilled this gin dated back to 1830 in London.

A young distiller only in his 20s he created the recipe for this outstanding gin.

Amazing as it is the distillery had been been destoryed during World War II, however it had been recovered by a one of the stills that had survived.

180 years on and its still a top seller.

Tanqueray is still one of the best selling gin's in the US today, also a legend tells that it was the first drink in the White House after the repeal of prohibition.
