Suitable for Vegans - Suitable for Vegetarians
Chile has a long vinicultural history for a New World wine region dating to the 16th century when the Spanish conquistadors brought Vitis vinifera vines with them as they colonized the region.
Valle Central is Chile's most productive and internationally known wine region.
The wine region consists of four wine growing sub regions: the Maipo Valley, the Rapel Valley, the Curicó Valley and the Maule Valley.
It is a diverse region due to the many different types of terroirs and microclimates within each of the sub regions, as well as styles of viticulture from old school to modern.
