Dr. Henry Lindeman & his wife created a vineyard at Hunter Valley Australia in 1843. Shortly after their business was destroyed due to a selfish arsonist attack which left Henry with no job therefore he was led to being a doctor again.
In 1853 he returned and made the biggest winery impact of his career. In 1960 a new vineyard was created and here is where the new winery get's made at Barossa Valley, Coonawarra, Padthaway Clare Valley & Corowa regions.
The old vineyard no longer exists. Now bigger and better the Lindeman's produce one of the best selling wines in the region.
