Description

Collet Cuvee No 21 (75cl)

Art Deco inspired Champagne House, Champagne Collet, owned by the region’s first ever cooperative COGEVI, is this year celebrating its 100 year anniversary with the launch of Cuvée n°21.

Created by Collet Cellar Master, Sébastien Walasiak, to mark the centenary year, the cuvée is a blend of 21 different vintages from the last 40 years.

The limited edition cuvee has been created as a tribute to the work and dedication of the winegrowers who, for a century, have put their skills and talent at the service of Champagne Collet vintages.

Cuvée N°21 is created from Champagne’s three most important grape varieties - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier - from all the appellation's regions and is a blend of over 30 Crus, included 8 Grands Crus and 3 Premiers Crus: Aÿ, Avize, Chouilly,

Mailly-Champagne, Villers-Marmery, Verzy, Cramant, Rilly-la-Montagne, Oger, Ambonnay, Hautvillers.

The cuvee is vinified in stainless steel vats and Champagne oak barrels, and aged for 7 years in our century-old chalk cellars.

The blend of 21 vintages includes wines from: 1961, 1969, 1971, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2012.

Located in Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region, Collet represents some of the finest growers and mainly sources from vineyards which are based on Premier and Grand Cru sites.
