Palate: lively with a nice attack. Notes first brioche, peach, then citrus appear. There follow notes of dried fruits (hazelnut type), acacia honey and black fruits such as blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry. A nice, fresh and delicious length.
Food & Wine Pairing:
As an aperitif, the Brut Premier Cru goes very well with cheese gougères. It accompanies white meats such as guinea fowl with a citrus sauce. It also goes well with fish such as sea bass or pike-perch.
For dessert, the fruity side of this cuvée could very well accompany a rice pudding or a fruit salad.
