Description
Duval-Leroy Extra Brut Prestige Premier Cru (37.5cl)
Based in the heart of the Cotes des Blanc since 1859, the House of Duval-Leroy has always been a family-run business.
It owns nearly 200 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards, mainly Chardonnay, in the Grand Crus as well as extensive holdings around its home village of Vertus.
Duval-Leroy wine maker, Sandrine Logette-Jardin, was the first (and is still the only) female chef du cave in a major Champagne house.
She crafts champagnes that epitomise finesse, lightness and elegance with their fine bubbles, precise acidic structure and smooth palate.
Light yellow in color. Fine and persistent perlage.
Assembled only from Premier and Grand Cru grapes, this new cuvée from the Maison expresses a pure champagne that, daringly combining a perfect taste balance and a classy character, opens the meal with harmony.
The bouquet shows aromas of fruits and white flowers, hawthorn and honeysuckle, then opening to notes of almond and toast. Elegant and delicate, this champagne is characterized by a great purity on the finish.
