Vinification Details:
The healthiest and most developed grapes are chosen during harvest to undergo a further drying process in controlled temperatures which guarantees the the superb quality of this wine.
The grapes are then pressed and fermented in temperature controlled tanks to retain all their goodness.
After fermentation the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels to create this superb wine.
History:
Founded in 1952 in Reggio Emilia, Schenk Italia one of the largest producers and exporters of Italian wine.
In 1960 the winery was relocated to Ora where it is still based today and has been adapted to remain up-to-date with modern technology and quality systems.
Regional Information:
Veneto is a wine region in the north west of Italy, one of a group of three productive regions collectively known as Venezie.
The region is protected from the north by the Alps, the foothills of which form Veneto's northern extremes.
The warm Adriatic coastal plains and river valleys is where Amicale's grapes are grown and where the famous Valpolicella, Amarone and Bardolino wine originate from.
