The small Prosecco 8cento winery is nestled amongst the beautiful hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.
Founded in 1900, subsequent generations have expanded and constantly updated the estate which is now a leader in quality for the region, producing a range of styles which include one of the region’s driest wines alongside a superb and very well-priced vintage release.
While firmly rooted in tradition, their winery is equipped with the latest technological innovation to ensure consistently high levels of quality.

Viticulture The distinctive hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are located in northern Veneto towards the foothills of the Alps. This area is known worldwide as the cradle and the heart of Prosecco, and is a Unesco
World Heritage Site. The warm climate and abundant rainfall coupled with the steep, well-drained slopes of limestone, sandstone and clay are perfect for growing Glera, the principal grape of Prosecco
Winemaking This is a single-vintage wine, offering greater depth and complexity than the non-vintage lines. Prosecco is produced according to the tank, or Charmat method.
A base wine is made, then yeasts and sugar are added. This is then transferred into an autoclave (pressure-resistant tank), the wines complete their secondary fermentation after 10 days. before being sent to a pressure-resistant filter. Dosage then occurs before bottling.
Tasting Notes:
Ripe peach and pear notes, hints of brioche; tremendous depth of flavour for a wine at this level. Lovely creamy mouthfeel and an elegant, refined finish.
Food Match:
Ideal for a meal with white meats such as a roast chicken with asparagus, and of course as an aperitif.
Ageing Potential Up to 2 years.
