Canard-Duchene Authentic Vintage 2014 (75cl)

Authentic Vintage 2014 is a blend of 38% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier

Aged for at least 5 years in the cellars.

Vintage:

After a cold, snowy winter, a warm spring set in for 2014. The mild temperatures provided a good start to the growing season. While early summer was plagued with heavy rain and high temperatures, it paved the way for a dry, hot August, allowing the grapes to ripen beautifully.

Tasting Notes:

Rich gold in colour. On the nose, aromas of fresh straw enhanced by a hint of caramel Pleasing and harmonious on the palate, revealing fresh, tangy aromas of yellow fruits.

Food Pairing:

This vintage Champagne would be perfect as an aperitif served with foie gras, smoked salmon or speciality cheese toasts.
